Finally painted up some possessed I built ages ago. They use some Tyranid, Chaos spawn, and Mage Knight bits. See those Mage Kight figures do come in handy!

Here’s what I’ve been working on the last week. Sculpted over an armature, brown stuff and brass and 2 sewing needles for the base of the weapons which will be a pair of sai like Raphael’s.

I did it for a D&D character that was just started. Yes he is a ninja, and a teenager…

Well here it is, another game I play. Warmachine. It’s actually a nice game to play if you have a 40k addiction. It’s just different enough that when your a little 40k’ed out you can play a few games of Warmachine. I play the Protectorate of Menoth, the crazy church fanatics who prefer to just burn all who oppose them. It’s a nice opposite to my Chaos and Orks.

Halt, is that furnace energy efficient?

Finally I can post lots of new pictures for your viewing pleasure! First up, something I picked up at last summers Games Day Canada in Toronto, The Nurgle Blight Drone.

As expensive as they are, Forgeworld models practically build and paint themselves! They are in the end worth every penny in my opinion.

You may notice a lot of my bases have victims, and just to snub the new army and because of the insignia on the power fist I had to have my victim a space wolf! Sorry guys!…. No I’m not. Take that you baby blue and gray wearing pretty boys in your fur.

I also have finally finished a Demon Prince. I tried to go with something more like fly wings. They came out pretty well and are removable with magnets if I don’t wish to pay the points. I always do however. I’ll get some more close ups of this one in the Nurgle gallery whenever I get that all up and finished. The blood spatter effect came out particularly well on this one!

That’s all for tonight. Next post I’ll put up my other dirty secret… that other non GW game I play! I bring so much shame….

They are almost finished. Just have to do some more washes and de-gloss a few areas and do their bases. I have to say I love the new GW washes a lot! My only gripe is that some are glossy and some aren’t. Now that isn’t necessarily a bad thing however, but I wish it said on the label which ones were glossy.
Edit: Ok so really the problem is I don’t shake them enough. Ogryn flesh specifically gets very shiny!
